Dawn of the Dead (rewatch)

It’s been almost 20 years since I last watched this movie, and it doesn’t hold up nearly as well as Night of the Living Dead does. It’s okay, but the humor isn’t as funny as I thought, the make-up and special effects are pretty lame (blood is not bright red!), and it’s not really that gory. I’m glad my wife wanted to rent this now, or I might have bought the 3-disc-mega-special-edition coming out later this year. Rating: 6
