Disappointing. I had high hopes — a Crouching Tiger-style movie directed by Zhang Yimou with a great cast. There were scenes of exquisite beauty (especially in the color palettes), and a couple of good fight scenes, but on the whole it was all rather boring. Oh well. Rating: 6
