Shunpu Den (Story of a Prostitute)

Well, son of a bitch. Something went wrong with my copy, I couldn’t watch the last 15 minutes. What I saw was good, though… very serious for Suzuki. I wonder if it was in any way a response to Kobayashi’s Human Condition trilogy, they seemed to share a lot of the same elements. I shouldn’t rate it without seeing the ending, but to hell with it. Rating: 7
