Futurama: Bender’s Big Score

Although at times this feels like “Futurama’s Greatest Hits” as they try to stuff in every character from the series, it’s still nice to have Futurama back in any form. Loads of good jokes (including plenty of freeze-frame gags) and an ending that leaves interesting possibilities for the next movie/batch of episodes. It does seem to drag a little in spots, though, and feels like it ought to be more satisfying. I also feel like Groening & company rely far too much on campy musical sequences. Rating: 7
