Smiles of a Summer Night (rewatch)

Posted by martinteller on July 3, 2004

Nothing new to say since the last time I saw it, still just as good.  Odd that this is only the second Bergman movie I’ve seen more than once, the other being Scenes from a Marriage (in each case I saw it first on VHS and watched again when the DVD came out).  I have seen several of his films once and then again while listening to a commentary track, but that doesn’t really count.  I do hope to revisit all of them soon.  I hear that the NW Film Center is having a Bergman festival in September, so I’ll probably go see some of those.
