Murderball

Excellent doc about quadriplegic rugby, and it’s not at all what you’d expect.  It never begs for sympathy for its subjects, nor does it ask you to be inspired by them.  There are some really interesting and captivating characters here, who don’t let their disabilities define their personalities.  I’d really like to know more about what happened to these people, so I’m looking forward to the extras on the DVD.  Rating: 9
