The Memory of a Killer

Posted by martinteller on September 2, 2006

Yet another stylized “hitman with a sense of honor” movie, combined with the standard stylized “police procedural cat and mouse game” movie.  It brings nothing new to the table, but it’s done well enough, at least during the moments when it’s not dripping with cliché.  Might be a treat for fans of Michael Mann.  They really didn’t do enough with the Alzheimer’s angle, but then again if they had it might have been a little too much like Memento.  Rating: 7
