Holocaust: The Liberation of Auschwitz

Posted by martinteller on October 12, 2006

I’ve seen about a billion Holocaust documentaries by now, but no matter how many I see, I still am stunned by the reality of it.  It’s as if my brain almost can’t register it as real, the whole thing is so horrible and enormous and impossible.  This is one of the more graphic and unflinching ones I’ve seen, with significant focus on the physical abuses suffered by the prisoners.  The autopsy footage is particularly upsetting.  Rating: 7
