Taxi Driver (rewatch)

Truly perfection.  This was the first movie I ever watched on DVD.  That was 4.5 years ago, and I hadn’t watched it since.  This time around I noticed how good the editing was.  I don’t really know how to explain that, it just seemed like there were some good choices made.  Of course, I don’t really need to mention DeNiro’s amazing performance, Schrader’s amazing script, Herrmann’s amazing score, or any of the other amazing things about Taxi Driver that have been written about more than enough already.  I can’t imagine ever being sick of this film.  Rating: 10
